Treats and Tasty Treats

For Christmas this year, I thought I'd make M some felt food. I first saw them at PBKids and thought they were so stinkin' cute. But I didn't think the price was so cute. I occasionally go to a blog called 'Skip To My Lou'. This woman is crafty. I have never met her but her son had made a felt donut. How clever! Then I Googled 'Felt Food' and you wouldn't believe the crazzz! Holy Cow. I saw one picture of an all felt lunch...including the brown paper bag...but in this case it was a brown felt bag. Soooo cute. So here are my cookies and donuts. If I have time I might make cupcakes. Those were adorable. Anyway...I got a donut box from the bakery and placed my treats inside. I will wrap it up and I hope M will like them.

Last night I made a fun treat. They are called Mini Strawberry Napleons. They were pretty good. I think I liked looking at them more than eating them. They are so pretty.

And last but not least...I DID NOT KILL my tomato plant! Hurray for me. My plants even produced 3 tomatoes. This is the only one that is ready to be picked but I am so happy. I was only hoping not to kill the plants this year and to have them produce even one tomato is something! I love fresh tomatoes. And I am really going to enjoy this one.

I have killed my tomato plants 5 years in a row. I don't know what my problem is. Congrats on the tomato and enjoy.

What cute felt donuts and cookies! I've never seen such a thing before! Well, there was a children's museum in CA that had felt pizza pieces to make a pizza, but it was nothing like those treats. Just felt cut out into shapes, not sewn. Do you mind sharing the link to the skip to my lou blog? I'm always looking for crafty ideas, especially ones to do with the girls.
