Happy New Years!

After spending 4 hours grocery shopping with the kids, they were very good in costco, walmart, claire's, the gamestop, and old navy, we headed home to get ready for our new year's eve.


We had our traditional New Year's Eve dinner complete with sparkling apple cider, apple grape cider, and apple cranberry cider. I pulled out the black chargers and fancy china. Everyone including F was given a glass goblet to drink from. We had steak, potatoes, green bean casserole, salad, and Emilie's famous homemade rolls. Carrots and crackers completed the appetizers.

Our New Year's Eve was spent watching Alias. The end of the 3rd season. I love it. So good.

And now we are on the 4th season with much anticipation. M and F fell alseep about 10 o'clock and I went to bed at 11:50pm. I know...party pooper. Couldn't stay up 10 more minutes. B, K, and A watched the ball drop and then it was off to bed. I was fast asleep until I heard screaming and fireworks! It was cool to hear lots of excitement going on outside. It lasted for about 10 min. and then it was time for a long winters nap.
