A and M were in the Silverada Opening Day Parade. This is little leagues biggest day! All the baseball teams in the league participate in the Opening Day parade. A and M were able to help hold their team banners while others waved pennets. All the players looked their best in their uniforms as they walked down to the baseball fields.
Once there they all lined up against the back fence and when their team name was called...they'd run to the infield so everyone could see them. Then we saluted the American flag while the National Anthem was sung. What a great way to start off the baseball season.
The players enjoyed a free pancake breakfast while the adults ate steak....all day long.We had to leave for K's soccer game, so we didn't get steak. Both the kids had great games.
For the rest of the school year, our Saturdays will consist of soccer, baseball, and tball. I can't think of a better way to spend my weekend cheering on my kids. Let the games begin!
