For Lisa J.

My friend, Lynette, got me into blogging and I had no idea that I would become this hooked. I have never been good about writing in a journal. My idea of a journal was a collage of notes and pictures taped and glued in...kind of like a yearbook only 3-D. Well all the journals I have ever seen were not inspiring me creatively. Lynette said, 'At the end of every month I print my blog off and stick it in a binder. That's my journal.' So that is exactly what I have been doing. I feel like I can be more creative with 'My Journal' in this way. I got the thickest white ring binder... those are my favorite...and put a title on it to match all my other idea binders...and stick my blog in there. I print my pages on cardstock because it holds the colored ink better and stick it in the binder. No sheet protectors. I love it. It's simple, it's my journal, and it's organized.

That's what I do too! Great way to kill two birds with one stone!

What a great idea. I too am not very good at the journal thing. I think it is my new years resolution every year. But even though it isn't as often as I would like, I figure...well, at least I wrote down something. Guess that is better than nothing. What a great idea to print out the blog. (I didn't even know you could do that!) Goes to show how technically advanced I am. Thanks for another great idea Staci!

I do it too! Even though I have not printed anything off yet. So the cardstock thing is a good tip. Thanks.

I sent you an invite for my blog a long time ago but I just resent it. So if you for some reason don't get it email me at dwellers@att.net I am so sorry, I didn't mean to block you just all the freaks!

I love looking back at mine and seeing everything we have done for the year. I have 3 huge folders. A part of me said, wait a minute don't write so much, think how much there will be after 30 years, but now way! I even print the comments, so my kids can know my friends after I die too! I love the cardstock idea. I am so glad that I went back and printed them all in color! Love you
Got your message about printing in elements. I will email you how to do it. It is under picture packet!

I am totally there with you, my blog is my journal. However I need to be better about printing, I haven't started printing anything out because I waiting for a color printer first, hehe!

Staci, thank you!!! I never thought of printing it out... I've just been copying and pasting it into my own journal (which is on the computer) with just one or two of the pictures. It might be fun to have a 'blog history' as well. Thanks for doing a post just for me!!! I feel so special!
