Mrs. Rachel was too cute. Thanks, Paula. She was so sweet with M. When she was all finished Mrs. Rachel said, 'She looks so grown up, Mom'. That's when the tears welled up in my eyes and I had to look strong. So, no, I didn't cry. I just got teary eyed thinking about my little girl growing up. It goes by so fast and I can't keep up. M is so excited about her new haircut. We all love it.
M, you are going to make some little person very happy.

Locks of Love
Our sweet little M decided she wanted to give her long gorgeous blonde hair to Locks of Love. I couldn't be happier with her decision to give to others. I just wish it wasn't her hair. I am way to attached to it and I know there are many moms out there that feel the same way. I had to make her appointment a month and a half early because I needed time to adjust to the idea. Now that it's here...I am left with no choice.

Her hair looks precious!! But you're right...it makes her look way older now :( She is such a cute girl.

WOW thats is a long pony-tail!! how much did she cut off? good for her, you have raised some really good kids.
How sweet she is!! She looks darling with her new hair cut. That is a lot of hair to cut off!
Oh I love it! She is so beautiful. Don't you just love a nice clean cut though? I still say every time my kids get a hair cut they age. I LOVE the haircut!
holy cow! I never thought the day would come. Has she ever gotten it cut before? P.S. I'm way super excited to see you guys in a week!!!
She looks so cute! I always loved her hair. Who ever gets it will be so lucky, it is beautiful hair!
I almost cried seeing her hair cut off - but it looks so cute. I am attached to her locks of hair! what a sweet heart to donate it.
What are a good mamma!
What a sweet thing of her to do! I would have cried; granted that London could actually grow her hair that long! She looks so, so cute!
What a sweet and very brave thing for her to do. There are so many girls in our ward that have done this as well. In fact, two of them have done it twice! It is so neat.
What a wonderful thing you did Makinley . . . you are so sweet to give your beautiful hair to someone who will need it, and you are still beautiful! I love you . . . Grandma!
