Makinley was a soloist! She wanted it to be a surprise but I showed up to help in her class one Tuesday and they were on their way to rehearsals. I heard her name called for ‘A Candle For Peace’ and was caught off guard. ‘Makinley is singing a solo?’ Brandon and I listened to every word she sang. It was like an angel. She even let me curl her hair for the occasion!This was Ford first Christmas Concert and he did such a great job. We've been practicing 'Jingle Bells' in the car for about 2 months now. He looked so handsome and sang out loud and clear for us to hear him. We love watching him sing.
I don't think there's a better way to be filled with the spirit of Christmas than to listen to little voices sing Christmas carols. What a blessing.
